When you notice massive leaps in understanding or scientific progress on a historical time line, a type 5 of some sort was probably behind it. Type 5’s are called “The Investigators.” The majority of INTJs seem to fall into this category, including the plethora of scientists on our celebrity lists (Newton, Hawking, etc.) Their aim is to comprehend the world around them and beyond. The ambition runs very high and INTJs of this type (like Augustus Caesar) tend to excel to the point of overkill when they take up a task. Their Te is often aimed at management, organization, and strategy rather than the sciences (as is the case for type 8 INTJs.) They often master the corporate world and ascend up the ladder. ![]() A good example of a type 3 INTJ is Augustus Caesar. All of their energy is poured into generating as much success for themselves as possible, which simultaneously translates into “profits” for whatever group or organization they are running or contributing to. Type 3’s are called “The Achievers.” Their work ethic is overwhelming.
